Yes yes, I know. I promised the first highlights would be weeks ago. I dug into working on the first review, which I ended up turning into a bigger project and then was met with unexpected delays. The review is more or less back on track so you can expect that very soon. (Like should be less than 48 hours soon.) But for now, here are those highlights.

I have a few announcements too, but we'll get the highlights first because those are more important!

For this set, I focused on the All Ages folder because I think a lot of times it's hard making a comic that is suitable for any Pokemon fan to read. I theorize that we all get our fill of the "E for Everyone" stuff from the games and anime, and so we older fans want something for meant for us! So comics like this are kind of hard to come by, especially considering the popularity of Nuzlocke comics nowadays.

. . . Even some of the ones in the All Ages folder probably shouldn't be there so if it actually does fit the category, that's quite an achievement!

These are multi page strips. I cannot speak to whether or not they are all ongoing. Four of them this time, so check them all out!

The action may put it right on the border of being eligible for being All Ages, but doesn't take it too far I think. And I loves me some action, I do!

Highlight 2: Flare Out by Ankoku-Flare

It just drips with snappy and funny dialogue. The style and format changes every couple pages and so it's fun to see the different looks.

What do you mean I'm drawn to comics with great fight scenes? You can't prove a thing!

The world of comics in general has a lot of color, and so when a comic uses color schemes in a different way, I notice! (And you should too!)

So that is it for our highlights this time. Hope you will give these all a look!

If you would NOT like your comic highlights, let me know so I can opt you out. And if you are interested in a formal review of your comic, note me or the group and let me know! Just be sure your comic meets the guidelines explained in this journal entry: dpca.deviantart.com/journal/Up…

Now for the announcements.  Well, more like one announcement and a sorta question for everyone.

Our Nuzlocke folder has gotten quite full so we have decided to make a second Nuzlocke folder before it overflows. We have called it our Mature Nuzlocke folder. Sure, all Nuzlocke comics have some expected level of mature content. But if you believe your comic is a level above the rest in terms of gore, sexual themes, language, etc., feel free to submit your comic to that folder instead. If you would like to move a previous submission to that folder, that's possible too. Just give the word!

In non-related news, there has been some interest in the DPCA podcast, Unbeatable, to be revived. I would love to bring it back if there is still an audience for it, but there would probably have to be some changes in how we do it. If this is something you might be interested in, let us know! I kind of want to get a feel for how many people would actually get use out of it.

If you are new and don't know what the DPCA podcast is, or if you would like to check out the old episodes again, they are still available at www.vyebrante.com/blog
